Ever wonder where your walk with Christ really begins, as both a follower and servant? That starts with discerning your God-given spiritual gift, and nurturing it thereafter.
Didn’t He know you before you were in the womb? Doesn’t He have a plan for your life? Don’t know what that might be–much less, where to find it?
Then why not prayerfully consider the four places in the New Testament where a representative list of spiritual gifts is given? I’m referring to Romans 12:6-8, 1st Corinthians 12:4-11, Ephesians 4:11-12, and 1st Peter 4:10-11.
Note that in every category, the ascended Christ is the gift-giver. Try each one on for size, and see which fits. And then begin to follow as the Spirit leads. That’s where your walk with Christ begins!
